Crisis in Kaduna PDP: State Secretary Suspended Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Kaduna State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dropped a political bombshell, announcing the immediate suspension of its State Secretary, Sa’idu Adamu, over allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
In a statement released Monday and signed by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Maria Dogo, the PDP said the decision was taken by the State Working Committee and ratified by the State Executive Committee during a high-stakes meeting at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna.
Citing Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended), the party said Adamu’s actions were in clear violation of its core principles, warranting swift disciplinary action.
Effective immediately, Adamu is barred from participating in any PDP activity at all levels for an initial period of one month, pending the outcome of ongoing investigations.
“This suspension sends a strong message that the PDP will not tolerate any act of indiscipline or betrayal from within. The party remains fully committed to upholding internal order, justice, and transparency under the leadership of State Chairman, Edward Masha,” the statement emphasized.
The PDP stressed that the move is part of broader efforts to clean house, strengthen party structures, and restore public confidence as it prepares for future political battles.
With political tension mounting, all eyes are now on the outcome of the investigation—and what it could mean for Sa’idu Adamu’s future in the party.
