Celebrating Excellence: Nigeria’s Top Educators Recognized at Cybersmart Educators Initiative 1.0 — Valencia, Deeper Life, and Mabest Academy Lead the Way
Lagos, Nigeria — October 25, 2025
It was a night of celebration, inspiration, and national pride as Levi EduTech honoured Nigeria’s most outstanding digital educators at the Cybersmart Educators Initiative (CEI) 1.0 Grand Finale, held at the Afe Babalola Hall, University of Lagos.
The prestigious event brought together over 200 participants — educators, policymakers, and ICT professionals — to celebrate excellence in digital learning, moral education, and cyber ethics. The initiative, which trained 140 educators across public and private schools in Nigeria, focused on equipping teachers with the knowledge and skills to create safe, ethical, and technology-driven classrooms.

Valencia Junior Academy, Ibadan — Best Cybersmart Teacher in Nigeria
Topping the chart of excellence was Valencia Junior Academy, Ibadan, represented by Mrs. Esther Ekanem, who emerged as the Best Cybersmart Teacher in Nigeria, earning the grand prize of ₦1,000,000. Her innovative project, which centered on Digital Discipline in the Classroom, won the judges’ hearts for its powerful integration of moral instruction with cybersecurity awareness.
“We are shaping children not just for the internet, but for life,” Mrs. Ekanem said, expressing gratitude to Levi EduTech for empowering educators to lead a digital safety revolution in schools.
Deeper Life High School, Mowe — Second Place Winner
In second place was Deeper Life High School, Mowe, represented by Mr. Oluwaseun Oluwasanya, the school’s National Supervisor for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, who received ₦500,000. His work demonstrated exceptional commitment to combining technology, innovation, and moral values in teaching.
Deeper Life High School also shone brightly in the Inter-School Debate Competition, where its Mowe and Abeokuta campuses earned the 2nd Runner-Up position, showcasing their students’ deep understanding of Digital Morality and Cyber Ethics in the 21st Century Classroom.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Lucky Isaiah, Head of ICT Nationwide, said:
“At Deeper Life High School, we believe technology without morality is a danger to society. The Cybersmart Initiative reinforces our mission to raise disciplined, digitally smart leaders.”
Mabest Academy, Akure — Third Place Award
The 3rd Place Award went to Mabest Academy, Akure, represented by Mr. David Ipaye, who received ₦300,000 for his excellence in cybersecurity integration and moral education. His project emphasized responsible technology use among students, making Mabest Academy one of the country’s emerging models for digital discipline and innovation.
“Cybersmart has reshaped how we teach technology — it’s not just about devices but discipline,” Mr. Ipaye remarked. “At Mabest, we’re raising students who understand both innovation and integrity.”
Raising a Cyber-Conscious Generation
The grand finale also witnessed the official launch of the Cybersmart Club, a nationwide initiative designed to promote cyber ethics, curb online immorality, and develop Cyber Ambassadors among students. The club aims to transform schools into safe digital learning communities, promoting innovation through responsibility.
The Cybersmart Educators Initiative aligns with global efforts during Cybersecurity Awareness Month, reinforcing Nigeria’s commitment to safer, more ethical digital education.
With its success, Levi EduTech has announced the next phase — Cybersmart Educators Initiative 2.0, themed “Blending Instructional Design and AI to Foster Collaborative Learning Environments.”
